First, we meet with you to discuss your objectives and expectations. We make a plan with you to meet your body sculpting goals.
As part of pre-care, we ask you avoid any blood-thinning medications and alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
Procedure
During the procedure, the aesthetician will inject a lipolysis fluid that will dissolve the fat in the areas of concern. There may be minor swelling, bruising, or soreness after the procedure.
Follow Up & AfterCare
Bruising and swelling for the first few days is normal and expected. Use ice or arnica to help keep down the swelling. We will follow-up with you within 1-2 business days.
As part of after-care, we ask you to avoid hot saunas or swimming in open outdoor water for 2 days.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR LIPOLYSIS THERAPY TO PRODUCE RESULTS?
Depending on the precise technique and the person’s physiology, the time it takes to see the effects of lipolysis treatment can vary. Results usually show between a few weeks and a few months after therapy.
IS LIPOLYSIS A PAINFUL PROCEDURE?
Lipolysis treatment may produce some discomfort or mild pain during the procedure, although most patients find the discomfort manageable. After the procedure, you can notice some discomfort, swelling, or bruising in the treated area, but these side effects are usually minor and go away independently.
ARE THE EFFECTS OF LIPOLYSIS THERAPY LONG-LASTING?
The effects of lipolysis therapy can last for a long time, although they are not always permanent. The effects might last over time if you maintain a balanced diet and exercise routine. Fat cells, however, can re-grow, and the contours of the treated area may become less distinct if you put on weight or do not follow a healthy lifestyle.
